1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name and email when you create an account, along with the photographs and metadata you upload to your gallery. Photos taken on mobile may include location — either already embedded in the photo's GPS metadata or saved from a device location prompt you approve, which you grant at capture time.

2. How we use your information

Your information is used to operate and improve LUMA — authenticating you, storing and organizing your photographs, and enabling features you choose to use, such as publishing to Explore. Location is used to show where photographs were taken on a map in your private gallery.

3. Storage and security

Photographs are stored with a third-party cloud provider (currently Cloudinary) secured by industry-standard measures. Location metadata is stored securely alongside your photographs. We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Content you intentionally publish to Explore is visible to other users. Otherwise, your gallery is private to you. Location data is never shown on public pages such as Explore and is never shared with other users.

5. Your choices

You can update or delete your photographs at any time from your gallery. Deleting an account removes your stored personal information and gallery content, subject to retention periods required by law.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use minimal cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand basic usage patterns. Third-party analytics may be used to improve the service.

7. Contact

For questions about this policy or your data, please contact us through the support channels provided on the service.
